R.E. Caddy was originally founded in 1958 by Richard Earl "Tip" Caddy Sr. and carried on by his son Richard Caddy. When Richard retired in 2016, the newly formed Caddy Supply Company was carried on by Katie Pelton as part of PelRay International. In 2019, Kenneth Pelton continued the business and Caddy became part of Brush Fibers, Inc.
